Hey Denver Youth and Parents!
We’re thrilled to invite you to our FREE Basketball Camp, brought to you in partnership with Metro State University and the Denver Police Foundation! This is your chance to hit the courts, make new friends, and connect with the fantastic officers of the Denver Police Department in a fun, relaxed setting.
What’s in store?
Basketball Fun: Shoot hoops and enjoy exciting activities
Meet the Officers: Get to know DPD officers and see them in a new light
Chat with Pros: Talk with officers and Metro State Basketball Players about school, family, safety, and more
This camp is a wonderful opportunity to build positive connections and have meaningful conversations in a supportive environment.
Program Details:
Who: Young people ages 9 to 18 as of September 1, 2024
When: Applications must be received by Monday, September 16th
Food: Lunch and snacks will be provided, as well as some fun swag
Transportation: DPD buses, driven by DPD Officers will be provided to pick kids up from Denver Boys and Girls Clubs. Below are the locations:
Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club: 4397 Crown Blvd.
Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver: 3333 Holly Street
Arthur E. Johnson Boys & Girls Club: 3325 W 16th Drive
J. Churchill Boys & Girls Club: 3480 W Kentucky Avenue
