**New Tools for Denver’s Solid Waste and Sidewalk Changes in 2025**

Big updates are coming, Denver! DOTI has new resources to help residents get ready for solid waste service updates and a new sidewalk fee starting next year.

- **Trash & Recycling Changes:** Recycling moves to every-other-week, and large item pickup shifts to every nine weeks in 2025. Check your updated schedule at **denvergov.org/trashschedule** or use the Denver Trash & Recycling app for reminders.

- **Citywide Compost Rollout:** 60,000 households will receive mailers to sign up for free compost service and choose a cart size. Submit cart requests by January 10 to get them delivered by March.

- **Sidewalk Fee Starts in 2025:** Property owners will pay an annual fee (most at $150) to fund sidewalk repairs and construction. Find your fee or apply for a rebate at **denvergov.org/sidewalks**.
